About the results of the 1st Unifight World Championship among women

In Baku - the capital of Azerbaijan in July 16-18, 2007 has passed the first Unifight World Championship among women in the 5 weight categories.

According to the plan of operation of the Executive Committee of FIAU in period from 14 to 23 of May this year in Medyn (Kaluga region, Russia) in Sport Hall of martial arts was conducted the 2nd international seminar of the experts and sportsmen of Unifight in which the sportsmen and coaches from Russia and Romania participated.
The program of a seminar consists of theory and practice , and also control tests and delivery of offsets on separate sections of the contents of an obstacle course (high-speed overcoming of separate groups of obstacles, shooting, throwing of a knife after an exercise loading etc.)
The major attention was given to perfecting of improvement of duels in the ring, which one were conducted under the direction of the judo olympic champion , deserved master of sports Sergey Novikov.
Under the totals of the seminar and certification it of the participants the Romanian participants
Emilian Dobrescu and Andrey Constanti-Lasenko have received the Certificate - license of FIAU for the right of conducting of trainer activity of Unifight, and Russian sportsmen have passed good preparation before the beginning Unifight Russian Championship.

The Executive Committee of FIAU informs that Unifight World Championship among youth 14-15, 16-17 years old is postponed from 20 - 23 of September to 27-30 of September.

In the period of 5 -8th of April in Medyn (Russia) World Unifight Championship among boys 10-11 and 12-13 years old has passed.
The sportsmen from Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan , Israel, Finland, Belarussia, Uzbekistan etc. participated in competitions.
Russian young sportsmen conquered 20 medals: 7 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 9 bronze medals.
The sportsmen from Ukraine conquered 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 7 bronze medals.
The sportsmen from Azerbaijan conquered 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.

In the period of 8-11th of March in Medyn (Russia) Unifight European Championship among boys 10-11 and 12-13 years old has passed.
82 sportsmen from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan etc. participated in competitions. Russian young sportsmen from Moscow and Moscow region, Saint-Petersburg, Ryazan, Ufa conquered 34 medals: 10 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 18 bronze medals.
The sportsmen from Ukraine conquered 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.
The sportsmen from Azerbaijan conquered 2 silver medals.
The sportsmen from Kazakhstan conquered 3 bronze medals.

On the 5-7th of March this year in Palace of sports "Olympiyskiy" in Cekhov of the Moscow region was held the First Open European Championship of "Unifight " (in the register of kinds of sports in Russia - "Russian fight ").
The sportsmen from 16 countries have shared in duels of " Unifight ", of " Sports knife throwing" - 7 countries .
The medals of the Championship were conquered by the sportsmen from 14 countries. Most successfully have appeared the sportsmen from Russia (8 first places, 1 second place, 2 third places), Romania (3 second, 2 third places) and Azerbaijan (2 second, 3 third places) .
In " Sports knife throwing" all prize-winning places were divided with the sportsmen of Russia.
