RESOLUTIONS
Congress FIAU (the 3^rd December 2009, Prague, Czech Republic)

Having discussed the report of the President of FIAU Novikov S. for the period of 2008 to 2009 Congress FIAU noted that the aims that were posed to the Executive Board of FIAU in the previous Congress to promote Unifight in the world, mostly satisfied, namely:

• the calendar 2009, approved by FIAU Congress 2008 was performed almost in full. All the scheduled events were held with the active participation of national federations;
• conducted Unifight continental championships: Asian Championship (Tashkent, May) and the European Championship (Baku, September);
• conducted European and World championships among children and younger boys and girls 10-11 and 12-13 years old ; among boys and girls 14-15, 16-17 years old, Junior and Junior 18-20 years old , men and women;
• annually World Championship "Sports knife throwing" are held;
• the international competitions for the Regulation of light Unifight version approved by Congress in 2008,held which makes it possible to attract more athletes to participate in international competitions in all age groups among men and women.

however the Executive Committee of FIAU was unable to:

• achieve results in the creation of the National Federation in American and African continents;
• National Unifight Championships in most countries do not held;
• neglected the development of female direction of Unifight in the national federations;
• there are some difficulties in the development of children's and youth directions, in most national federations are not conducted Championships in the age groups: 10-11, 12-13 years old , 14-15, 16-17 years old, 18-20 years old;
• done poor work in the National Federations for the training of national staff: coaches and trainers, arbitrators;
• poor work is done for creating new National Federations in Europe and Asia;
• majority of the National Federation does not fulfill the responsibilities under the Charter of the payment of membership fees. Because this creates financial difficulties. FIAU is unable to fund individual projects to improve material and technical base of scientific and methodical work, conduct outreach activities;
• majority of the National Federations do not develop "Sports knife throwing" and not take part in these competitions;
• Certificate committee has ceased to work for Assigned ranks of FIAU;
• unfortunately, in 2009 because of the tragic events in Kirovsk World Championship "Winter Unifight" did not take place. Scheduled for 1 st World Championship "Winter Unifight" in March 2010.

FIAU Congress decided:

1. to recognize work of the Executive Committee of FIAU for the period 2008-2009 satisfactory;
2. to recognize the work of the board of referees for the reporting period satisfactory;
3. to recognize the work of the Commission for the Development of Unifight in the world satisfactory;
4. to withdraw from the Executive Committee of FIAU in connection of the stopping of activity the 1 st Vice-President of FIAU Alimkhanov Ahmet (Russia);
5. to elect the 1 st Vice-President of FIAU Liulin Eugeni (Russia);
6. to charge the Executive Committee of FIAU to choose the candidate of the chairman of the Certifying Commission for Assigned ranks of FIAU ;
7. to approve the planned schedule of FIAU competitions held in 2010;
8. to require all National Federations, since 2010, hold national competitions for light- Unifight version among boys and girls 14-15, 16-17 years old, juniors and juniors 18-20 years old, men and women;
9. to postpone the holding of international competitions on the version of semi-light Unifight until 2011;
10. to consolidate the duties of the members of the Executive Committee of FIAU to establish new national federations of FIAU;
11. to held National Winter Unifight Championships and World Winter Unifight Championships.
