About the results of the 1st Unifight World Championship among women

In Baku - the capital of Azerbaijan in July 16-18, 2007 has passed the first Unifight World Championship among women in the 5 weight categories. The Ministry of youth and sport of Azerbaijan Republic (Mr.Ragimov A.) and the National Unifight Federation (Mr.Gasanov A.) were the head of Organizing Committee.

45 sportsmen from 26 countries took part in competitions on arena of Geidar Aliev Palace of Sport . The competitions were of great interest for specialists and audience.

The team of Azerbaijan conquered 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.

The team of Russia conquered 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals.

Except for these countries the sportsmen from Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, Georgia became the prize-winners of the 1st Unifight World Championship among women.
